journal excerpt august 17th: “I’ll grant this; a seven hour train, a night slept on benches, a rather shaky flight, a hard-won cab ride, a six hour ferry, three hours waiting for a bus, and a frantic run through the powerless streets of Oia might just have been worth it, it’s fucking beautiful here. We’ve decided to stay a couple of extra nights.”
